1-Introduction_The WUWEI

Concept overview

Biodynamic embryology is based on fundamental principles that emphasize trust in the inherent forces of each individual, rather than direct interventions. This therapeutic model values primary respiration, considered the "breath of life", and the need to achieve a state of neutrality for both practitioner and patient. The meeting of these two neutral states is crucial to allow the emergence of therapeutic forces, thus facilitating the regeneration and restructuring of the body.

An essential aspect of this approach is the "meeting point", a space of connection between therapist and patient, where presence and attention are paramount. This meeting point is indispensable for natural corrections to manifest, in harmony with the laws of nature. By integrating concepts such as longitudinal fluctuation and wu wei (or "non-doing"), biodynamic embryology offers a method that prioritizes listening and observation, thus allowing healing forces to express themselves fully. This holistic approach invites us to rediscover the body's self-regulation potential, promoting a state of health rather than focusing on illness.
