Demo: Ventricular System

Concept overview

The biodynamic approach in osteopathy focuses on the perception and interaction with the body's internal structures, particularly through the ventricular system. The method begins with a contact that evolves from the periphery to the depth, allowing the practitioner to feel the texture of the tissues, from the skin to the bone structures. This tactile exploration initiates a deep connection with the body, where the heat emitted by the hands facilitates the perception of different tissue layers, especially the fascia and the mesoderm, which play a crucial role in body dynamics.

As this progression continues, particular attention is paid to the fluidity of the bone structures, which are no longer perceived as rigid, but rather as elements allowing a deeper interaction with the brain and the ventricles. This exploration allows for feeling subtle oscillations and distinct frequencies between the cerebral hemispheres. The therapeutic interaction manifests through gentle movements, promoting a space of breathing and release for the receiver, who can then experience a sensation of lightness and harmony within their body. The described perceptions, ranging from a sensation of impact to an electrical vibration, attest to the effectiveness of this approach in promoting well-being and internal balance.
